The Tech Lady Logo

March 1st, 2012 • by Niki • 4 Comments

For this project, I returned to my print design roots to create a logo for Amy Lucas, a computer technician and social media guru. Amy’s the person you call when your computer dies and you have that terrible sick feeling that you just lost everything. To me, computer techs are like superheroes – so that was my inspiration when creating this logo.

In addition to home and small business IT setup and support, Amy is also a social networking expert and web developer. So, she can be your wireless-networking, RAM-installing, virus-eradicating all-around hero!

  1. Oh, how fun is that! It’s superhero, but it’s also like an old-fashioned car grill, so it’s retro and modern, and based in the “city of tomorrow” type stuff. I can totally see this on shirts. Or on a spandex suit with a cape. I love this!

I had so stinking much fun with this project! Amy provided clear direction, which is so helpful! We’re still working on a stationery package, so I might blog about her again, or update this post.

This is an awesome logo, Niki! I had a great time working with you and have just taken a breath long enough to make sure my Facebook page is timeline ready…not a moment too soon, either…they’re flipping the switch tomorrow to force everyone into it!

I love it! It’s super fab…and the tag lines you came up with kill me…You. Are. Awesome. That is all.
